Patrickswell GAA notes

August 13, 2018

ALL-IRELAND HURLING FINAL: Patrickswell GAA Club wishes the Limerick Senior hurlers the very best of luck in the All-Ireland Hurling Final on Sunday. We are so proud of Cian, Diarmaid and Aaron. Safe travelling to every supporter and let's hope there's a Liam McCarthy trophy to celebrate.

TICKETING ARRANGEMENTS: There is huge interest in the All-Ireland final within Patrickswell and the county. Each club has been granted an allocation by the County Board.

Limerick's recent success has meant that demand has greatly exceeded supply, especially in Patrickswell. Over the coming days, the Officers will meet to allocate tickets to the membership. It will not be an easy process. We will endeavour to meet the members' requirements to the best of our abilities. However, members should be mindful that demand exceeds supply many times over.

Tickets are expected to be handed out in midweek. The exact day is not concrete.

RAFFLE: The All-Ireland raffle draw was won by David Mann.

MINOR HURLERS: The Minor hurlers played out an exciting draw with Garryspillane in the Premier Hurling Championship. The result was a high-scoring 1-17 to 3-11 tie. Patrickswell have gone through the group stages with an undefeated record.

JUNIOR A HURLERS: Patrickswell face Old Christians in the City Championship semi-final on Friday August 17 at 7pm in Claughaun.
