MINOR HURLERS

 

Our minor hurlers were back in action on Friday evening when they welcomed Kilpeacon(amalgamation of Crecora, Mannister,Fedamore, Ballybricken) to the club.

A must win game for the lads and they responded well.

We raced into a 3 point lead with some good scores from James Daly before getting caught out for a goal inside 5 minutes.

We responded well to this set back with some excellent points scored by Adam McNamara, Sean Long, Matthew DeCourcey and James Daly to put us 0-9 to 1-3 in front.

We raised  a green flag of our own just before the break when James Daly finished off a great move where Matt Decourcey and Mark O Connor were prominent.

We led at the break 1-10 to 1-3.

We picked up where we left off and had 2 quick fire goals fron Justin Norden and Keith Dempsey to put us in a commanding lead.

We added a fouth goal from Robin Ryan Blake to seal a very good performance.

Best on the night were Adam McNamara, Matthew De Courcey, Conor Stack and Conor Richardson

We wish the Limerick senior hurling team the very best wishes in the All Ireland Final on Sunday.
