Patrickswell GAA notes

SENIOR HURLERS: Patrickswell climbed to the top of the All County Hurling League with a comfortable 3-17 to 0-16 victory over Kilmallock. Our record now stands at three wins and one defeat. The club will also attend Ahane's Feile on Friday 25 May, where they will play Monaleen at 6.15pm and Garryspillane at 7.15pm. The matches are nine-a-side, with an emphasis on the Irish language.

JUNIOR A HURLERS: The City League final will be contested on Sunday May 27 at 7.30pm against Crecora, with Mungret as the provisional venue.

INTERCOUNTY HURLING: Congratulations to Limerick for making the perfect start to this year's All Ireland Hurling Championship by beating Tipperary. The Patrickswell trio of Cian Lynch, Aaron Gillane and Diarmaid Byrnes were at the forefront of the performance.

CAMOGIE: The Camogie Club had a very productive week. The Intermediate Ladies staved off relegation fears in the league with a 6-12 to 1-4 win over Tournafulla. In the U-14 County League semi-final, Patrickswell overcame Knockaderry by 4-3 to 3-0. Meanwhile, Sarah Gillane and Leah O'Carroll represented Colaiste Chiarain Croom as they won the Munster Senior Schools Championship.
