Health and Wellbeing

The new title for Health and Wellbeing Officer is "Healthy Club Officer".

"Tuesday Walks" started last Tuesday night and will hope to continue for the summer. Tuesday nights at 7.30pm (GAA complex) will be a meeting point for like minded people who want to do some exercise with other people. Some people like to walk the roads, other prefer to walk laps of the pitch. So people can decide where they want to go and divide into separate groups. Open to male and female and all are welcome.

Killeedy GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee are looking for new people to join the committe to help brainstorm new ideas to make Killeedy a healthier place to enjoy. We are asking for people to attend approximately meetings per year. The role of the Health and Wellbeing Committee is to promote and signpost initiatives, programmes which may be of interest to people in the community such as the Older Adults Programme, Walking Groups and Couch to 5K. Please contact one of the Healthy Club Officers: Cecilia, Orflaith or Aine. Thanks to the new people who have agreed to join the committee.
