Limerick manager John Kiely is not getting carried away by their start to the NHL Division 1B campaign.

The Shannonsiders and Galway top the division with two wins from two as Limerick prepare to face Dublin at the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday night.

There is still a long way to go in the campaign, but Kiely is pleased to see some of his college players return to the squad this week as the pressure on promotion ramps up.

"The Fitzgibbon Cup is down to it's concluding stage so numbers for inter-county training are increasing and it's easier with more bodies," Kiely told the Limerick Leader.

"It means guys are looking over their shoulders and everything is more competitive. It is in the melting pot but we will continue to take it game by game."
