Congrats Cluainín Iomáint

Congrats to Cluainín Iomáint on winning their 1st Leitrim senior hurling title since 1959. Cluaininabu posts here or used to. That's a long, long barren spell when you've only 4 hurling clubs in the county! Clonguish won their 1st since 2006 here.

Its been awhile (due to work) that Ive not had the opportunity to get onto Hoganstand. This reply to the previous posts is one which Im truely proud of as we up here in North Leitrim are over the moon that the Cluainin Iomaint have got what they deserve! They have lost out on many finals over the past 7 years. Winning last Saturday made it all the more worthwhile and effort. Cluainin are without doubt the only hurling club functioning as a club which provides hurling training and games for everyone from the ages of 5 to 50! There were bonfires lit and the town of Manorhamilton came to halt as the cup paraded around the town last Saturday. The good will and applause the team were met with was truely epic. This is what makes GAA so special and all those in North Leitrim who have worked tirelessly and travelled the length of the country to promote and provide hurling to the Manorhamilton area were rewarded! Cluainin Abu!
