Congratulations to Gary and Edel Canning on the birth of their beautiful little baby girl Laoise last week, a little sister for Darragh

County Juniors

The County Junior team gave a good account of themselves on Saturday last when they played Kerry in the All Ireland semi. They missed a few goal chances and with a little more luck, could have won. Shane Quinn, Domhnaill Flynn, Alan Armstrong, James Mitchell and Caillin Canning can be proud of their performances.

Under 15s

These young men were beaten by Annaduff on Thursday last. It was a great game played at a lively pace and only 3 points separated them in the end. The panel and scorers was, S Moran, F Cassells, L Ellis,C Keegan, S Bohan, B Donoghue, N McNabola, C Quinn 0-2, C Macklin 1-2, C White 0-1, K Curran 0-3, A McCrann, C Mulligan0-5, K Mcnabola, T McNabola. We wish Domhnall Duignan and Gearóid Reynolds a speedy recovery from their injuries.

Div 3 Final

We proved too strong for Melvin Gaels on Sunday morning in the final of Div3,   Congratulations to players, trainers and managers on a great win. Captain Padraig Tighe touched the hearts of all present as he called on our great club woman Mary Kennedy to accept the cup alongside him. Mary is thankfully recovering from serious illness at present.   

Recent wedding

Congratulations to Pauline Beirne and Derek O Donnell on their marriage last Friday, both come from great footballing families in Cloone and Mohill and we wish them a long and happy life together.

Senior Championship

Friday next in Cloone, we play the first round of the Senior Championship at 8.30pm.  County champions Aughawillan is our opposition and support always helps.
