Leitrim manager Shane Ward was disappointed with the lack of discipline shown by his team in their defeat to Roscommon.

Darren Sweeney and Killian McGrisken were both issued with straight red cards, while Adrian Croal became their second player to receive a black card as they finished the Connacht SFC quarter-final with just 12 men.

"I'm disappointed with the lads and the way they went about their business." the Ballyshannon man said in the Irish Mirror.

"We started really well and settled, but after that we just hit the self-destruct button and be under no illusion that a lot of things that went wrong out there were down to the players themselves.

"They just totally played hard ball with Roscommon and we just needed to play our own ball. And it was a bit disappointing from that perspective becuase they were well prepared, well tutored and they just had to go and execute."
