Mohill played Gortletteragh on Saturday last and earned their place in the League final which will not take place until the Championship is completed. Mohill had a comfortable lead at half time on Sat but Gortletteragh rose their game in the second half. We play Melvin Gaels in the Championship on Saturday in Pairc Seán. The usual support appreciated.

New Baby

Congratulations to Cheistine Quinn and partner Brendan Tierney on the birth of their baby boy Jay in Australia two weeks ago. We wish them health and happiness.

U17

Mohill played Dromahair in Pairc Philib on Monday last. The visitors were missing some vital players so Mohill won comfortably in the end. Scorers were: N McNabola 1-3, A McCrann 0-4, C Keegan 1-1, L Ellis 0-3, C Macklin 1-0, S Bohan 0-2, F Cassells 0-2, C Mulligan 0-1, D Duignan 0-1. Next game is on Thursday July 25 in Manorhamilton at 7.30

U 13

These lads started their championship campaign against Allen Gaels minus many players for various reasons. Allen Gaels were worthy winners but the boys put up a good show and can be proud of their performances. The complete panel and scorers was: Darren Duignan, Niall Mulligan, Blaine McCrann, Eoghan Reilly, David Murphy, Adam Kiernan 0-1, Evan Kilrane 0-1, Keith McCaffrey 0-1, Ryan Gordon 0-1, Thomas Casey 2-0, Daniel Beirne 1-2, Darren Brennan, James Dimmock. Next game is away to Rinn Gaels on Friday 24 at 7.30.

Championship

Best of luck to Mohill who play Melvin Gaels on Saturday in Carrick at 7.00 pm. We also take this opportunity to wish our neighbours Cloone and Eslin success in their championship games at the weekend. Many of their players have lined out for Mohill underage so deserve our support.
