Mohill club notes

April 15, 2019

Recent death

The club extend deepest sympathy to the family of Noleen Harkin whose untimely death occurred last week. PJ and Noleen were constant supporters of their son Kalon as he played underage for Mohill and their young daughter who is a player with Mohill Ladies. She was also beloved aunt to players, Chloe, Ethan, Evan and Seán Harkin. May she rest in peace.

Div 1

Another good win registered on Saturday last when the first team beat a very understrength Allen Gaels side. In the next game, Leitrim Gaels will travel to Mohill on Saturday evening. Support as always appreciated.

Div 2

These lads were up against a strong Drumreilly side on Sunday last in artic conditions and found the going tough from the word go. They play GlencarManor on Sunday morning in Mohill so they may rise again. The Div 4 team will meet Cloone at 2pm in Pairc Philib.

Under 15

The Under 15s will play Annaduff on Thursday evening in Stanley Cox Park.

I’m a Celeb launch

The club is running I’m a Celeb as a fundraiser in the near future and the campaign will be launched in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel on Friday April 26 at 8pm. We sincerely thank Ciaran Reidy and the owners of Lough Rynn Castle who continue to be our main sponsors and have been so generous to Mohill over many years. We are looking for co-operation with this big operation and we will expect a big turn out on that date when all will be revealed. We have many entrants but if any person would like to be a contestant with all it entails they will be considered.
