Aughawillian Blitz

Special thank to our neighbours Aughawillian on inviting us to their blitz last Saturday. Our u9 and u11 teams took part in a very well organised schedule of games which the players thoroughly enjoyed. Grateful thanks to all the organisers for the excellent welcome and refreshments as well.

Book Launch

“Under the Thatch: Memories of a Longford Childhood” written by our own Seán Ó Súilleabháin will be launched in Ballinamore Community Centre on Tuesday 23 October at 8.30pm. Seán has written about his memories of life in North Longford in the 1950s and 1960s in a most entertaining way. The book will be launched by Ballinamore man, Tommy Moran, and everyone is welcome to attend. Beidh fáilte roimh gach duine.
