Once again, we had plenty of action from the four provinces this afternoon.

There were two hurling and three football games down for decision as many championships head for the penultimate stages.

That was particularly the case in football as all three of today's games were semi-finals as its last four time in the Connacht, Munster and Ulster senior football championships.

In hurling, let's hope today's two games are half as good as Cork v. Limerick last night and if that's the case, we are in for some treat.
