The late Peter Hyland The death of Peter Hyland, Cappakeel, Emo caused deep regret in the Heath and surrounding areas. Son of the late John and Mary Hyland, Ballydavis. Known to all as Ber he was much liked and appreciated. A great GAA supporter he was a panel member of the famous Heath three in a row team. His remains were removed from Maher's Funeral home, Portarlington to St Paul's Church, Emo. He was received by Fr Tom O' Byrne and Fr John Walsh. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr T Dooley PP with Fr J Walsh and Fr Boland. Burial took place after Mass in the new cemetery Emo.
