The Laois SHC final will be contested by Rathdowney-Errill and Camross on October 7.

In yesterday's semi-finals at O'Moore Park, Rathdowney-Errill accounted for Ballinakill on a 1-15 to 0-10 scoreline. The winners led by 0-8 to 0-7 at the break, but never looked back after Paddy Purcell scored the only goal via a deflection.

Camross are on the brink of becoming the first team in 16 years to retain the Bob O'Keeffe Cup after their 1-17 to 1-12 victory over Borris-Kilcotton.

A nine-point haul from Zane Keenan and a late Mark Dowling goal proved decisive for Danny Owens' men. PJ Scully hit 1-8, but still finished up on the losing side.
