Team news: Donoher in for Laois

June 09, 2018

Laois and Carlow met in the Leinster minor football championship at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Niall Donoher has been rewarded for an impressive substitute appearance against Westmeath with a place in the Laois starting XV for tomorrow's Leinster SFC semi-final against Carlow at Croke Park.

The Courtwood attacker scored two points after coming on for Benny Carroll in the first half and retains his place at the expense of the Portlaoise clubman. Donoher's inclusion at centre forward sees Paul Kingston - who registered 3-2 in a man of the match display against Westmeath - join his brother Donie and veteran Ross Munnelly in the full forward line.

Laois (SF v Carlow): Graham Brody; Stephen Attride, Mark Timmons, Gareth Dillon; Trevor Collins, Colm Begley, Finbarr Crowley; John O'Loughlin, Kieran Lillis; Alan Farrell, Niall Donoher, Damien O'Connor; Ross Munnelly, Donie Kingston, Paul Kingston
