Tipperary star Padraic Maher paid a touching tribute to former Premier County ladies footballer Rachel Kenneally following last night's extra-time semi-final victory over Limerick.
26-year-old Rachel - who was member of the team that lined out in the 2013 All-Ireland Intermediate final against Cavan at Croke Park - sadly passed away during the week.
Two-time All-Ireland winner Maher took to Twitter to remember her in the aftermath of his team's absorbing 2-31 to 1-31 victory…
TweetGreat oul game to end a really sad week. Taughts of all of us are with Rachel's family, friends, teammates. What a role model she was for everyone and a proud legacy she leaves. Proud to say I'm from tipp and to wear the same jersey, as she did so well. #ripray
