Kilkenny minor manager Pat Hoban sent a message to his players that no place on the team is guaranteed.

Hoban was speaking after the comfortable win over Offaly in the Leinster MHC last weekend and he stressed that they learned nothing from the game.

And in doing so, every place on the team was still up for grabs as they prepare for a provincial semi-final clash on May 14^th.

"It would be impossible to judge players on that effort. We got into an early lead playing with the wind and never looked in trouble," said Hoban.

He added: "None of the players need think there is anything nailed down in terms of the make-up of the team after this match."
