Truck load of fixtures coming up in Clare as 2020 club championship draws are made

After the staging of Monday's county board meeting from the back of a truck, it's full steam ahead for Clare GAA as the 2020 club championship draws were made this evening.
The opening round draws were conducted in both hurling and football following the decision of the clubs to implement the proposed new formats. Reigning SHC champions Sixmilebridge will start the campaign against Eire Og. Other notable ties in the race for the Canon Hamilton Cup include Crusheen v Ballyea, Kilmaley v Cratloe and Inagh-Kilnamona v Clooney-Quin. In the SFC, there will be a repeat of the 2019 final between holders Miltown-Malbay and Kilmurry-Ibrickane.
