The 1991 All-Ireland SFC final will forever be remembered as Down defeated Meath to end a 23-year wait for Sam Maguire Cup glory. Pete McGrath managed the Mourne men to a thrilling 1-16 to 1-14 victory over Sean Boylan's Royals in front of a crowd of 64,500 at Croke Park.

Almost 30 years later, now in their late 50's, the two teams have come together to help raise awareness for heart health through a documentary film 'Extra-Time' produced by the Irish Heart Disease Awareness (IHDA) and founding member of the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) Donal O'Neill and due to be released next week.

Down's midfield maestro that day against Meath, Eamonn Burns sadly passed away last October from a heart attack and was among the players to receive cardiac screening as part of the documentary just months before he died.
