Reid nominated for Cats captaincy

The honour of captaining Kilkenny for the 2019 season will go to TJ Reid.
The Kilkenny People reports that the ace attacker has been nominated by Ballyhale Shamrocks for the role.
The seven-time All-Ireland winner will miss the early rounds of the league due to his club’s upcoming All-Ireland semi-final date with Ballygunner of Waterford.
He was previously Cats captain in 2010.
