Kilkenny under-20 manager DJ Carey has finalised his backroom team for the 2019 campaign.
Carey was placed in charge of the Cats’ under-20 side late last year and he has now completed his backroom team for the year ahead.
His selectors are Liam Smith (James Stephens), Peter O’Donovan (Erin’s Own) and Nigel Skehan (O’Loughlin’s). Strength and Conditioning coach is Michael Comerford (O’Loughlin’s), Dick O’Neill Bennettsbridge (kit man) and Maurice Walsh Bennettsbridge (video analyst).
A number of trial games have already taken place, while challenge matches have also been scheduled for the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny minor manager Richie Mulrooney has also completed his backroom team for the coming year with Adrian Finan (James Stephen’s), Sean Kelly (St Martin’s) and Martin Carey (Young Irelands) being the selectors.
