Kilkenny SHC: Ballyhale to face champions in quarter-final

The clash of Ballyhale Shamrocks and holders Dicksboro was the pick of the Kilkenny SHC quarter-final draw which was made last night.
Under the guidance of Henry Shefflin, Ballyhale secured their last eight berth with a facile 3-22 to 1-12 victory over last year's intermediate winners Ballyraggrett last evening.
The meeting of 2016 champions O'Loughlin Gaels and 2015 winners Clara is another tasty quarter-final, while Mullinavat and Bennettsbridge will also face off. James Stephens will take on the winners of the next Saturday's first round replay between Carrickshock and Erin's Own in the other quarter-final.
