Kildare minor manager Gay Campbell believes that they were flattered by their ten-point win over Carlow in the Leinster MFC last weekend.
On paper, it looked as if the Lilywhites had cruised to victory against the Barrowsiders, but that is not the full story.
Carlow looked impressive for long periods and Campbell admitted to the Leinster Leader that they were pushed all the way by their opponents.
"Carlow stood up to us and gave it their all and while we deserved to win, and it is always great to win, it was really just a two or three-point game and no more," said Campbell.
