Monaghan's Conor McManus is tackled by Michael Fitzsimons of Dublin

With a storm brewing, there was key action tonight in Round Three of the national football league.

In Division One, five-in-a-row All-Ireland champions Dublin were determined to avenge their league defeats of 2018 and 2019 when they welcomed Ulster upstarts Monaghan to Croke Park, while - with both teams having fluffed their lines last weekend - Armagh would have home advantage against Kildare in a crunch Division Two clash.

Meanwhile, in Division Four, Paul Galvin's Wexford made the trip to Dungarvan to lock horns with Waterford.
