Five years on from his retirement with the Kildare seniors, Johnny Doyle will tog out for the county juniors against Longford in Newbridge this evening (throw-in 7.30pm).
The 42-year-old Allenwood clubman has been named on the bench by manager Declan McGrath ahead of the Leinster semi-final at St Conleth's Park.
Ballyteague's Seamus Hanafin captains the holders from midfield, while All-Ireland U20 winners Jack Bambrick and Padraig Nash line out at centre-back and centre-forward, respectively.
