Former Mayo All Star Liam McHale has joined Kildare club Naas as senior team coach.

McHale has been part of inter-county backroom teams in Roscommon and Cavan in recent years and previously managed Rossies' giants St Brigid’s.

Naas native Niall Cronin will lead the club in 2019, having managed its minor footballers to championship glory in 2016 and 2018.

Evan McDonnell, who was a selector with Kildare’s All-Ireland U20 winning side this year, is also on the impressive managerial ticket.
