Kildare under-20 manager Davy Burke and his bride will jet off on their honeymoon having held off on the break until after last Sunday's All-Ireland win.
Burke and his wife were married a few weeks back, but they delayed their honeymoon until after last Sunday's final win over Mayo.
The 30 year old guided the Lilywhites to the first ever U20 football title and the county's first under-21 title since 1965.
The Confey clubman showed his dedication to the role by putting off his honeymoon to now and he will feel that it was well worth it, having seen his captain Aaron Masterson lift the cup on the steps of the Hogan Stand.
