Antrim have qualified for a Leinster MHC last eight date with Dublin courtesy of a two-point win over Carlow in today's preliminary quarter-final clash in Abbotstown.
The Saffrons prevailed on a scoreline of 3-8 to 1-12 and their reward is a date with Dublin on June 16th.
Meanwhile, Westmeath overcame neighbours Meath by 1-18 to 1-11 at Cusack Park.
Shane Williams netted the winners' goal in the second-half after they had led by 0-10 to 1-4 at the midway point.
Cathal Sherlock bagged the Royal County's goal in the 25th minute but it's Westmeath that progress to a quarter-final fixture with Kilkenny.
In today's other preliminary quarter-final at Abbotstown, Kildare ran out comfortable winners against Down by 2-15 to 0-1 to secure their place in the last-eight where they will face Wexford.
