The Kildare under-20 side will be managed by Davy Burke in 2018.

The former Confey manager has been handed the reins for the newly formed grade and has the honour of being the first manager of the county at this level.

The under-20 grade replaced the under-21 in 2018 and Burke is believed to be a popular choice for the Lilywhites given the success he has had with Confey in recent years.

Burke has to finalise his backroom team for the coming year, but it won't be long until he starts the serious business of preparing the squad.
