Am I right in saying they ran Clare or Waterford minor hurlers close earlier in the year in some game?

Another title in the B grade for the minors. Great and all as it is if hurling is to push on the minors and Under 21's need to be playing in the A grade. Im sure they could still play in the B grade as well but really is it doing much good? The Under 21's won 3 titles in a row at there ease and were clearly to strong for the grade. The longer we stay in B grade the more the other counties will move on. Only 2/3 years ago there minors lost by only 2 points to Limerick and by 4/5 to Cork, Causeway were winning Munster and All Ireland titles for fun in Vocational Schools so the players are there to make some sort of brake trough.

The Tralee Parnells club seem to be going very well at the moment and that can only be a good thing as it give players in Tralee a chance to play hurling, same in Killarney with Crokes. About 8/9 years ago i remember the Kerry Under 21's losing by a point to Limerick in Tralee and after that game Eddie Murphy said to me ''if we had 2/3 lads from Tralee or Killareny we would have won that game''

The KErry colleges team in the Munster colleges is a good idea but really there has to be one at every grade for it to have any long term impact

Great post moomoo you are spot on, those young lads need to be playing the better teams so they can keep improving. what level can you see Kerry hurling being at in 10 years?

Well done to the minors on Saturdays victory over Meath. Hopefully they can go on and do the three in a row if they don't go up in the all Ireland series.

If the Parnells and Crokes keep up the work there doing and we can get more schools teams playing Munster colleges i see no reason why we cant be back playing Munster championship and doing well. When you look at it Clare dont have all that big a pick and look at them, same with Offaly in the 60's and 70's Kerry and Offaly played each other alot and Kerry won more often then not
