Kerry county board have announced that they will put Jack O'Connor's name forward to take charge of the county's U20 footballers for the next two years.

O'Connor has been in charge of Kerry's U21 side for the past two seasons but with the GAA's U21 championships to be replaced by the U20 grade, the Dromid Pearses man is set to step into a new role with his native county.

O'Connor, who has steered the Kingdom to three senior and two minor All-Ireland titles in his inter-county managerial career, will have his name put forward by board chairman Tim Murphy at September's county committee meeting.
