Tommy Walsh, who sensationally quit the Kerry football panel last week due to a lack of game-time, was among the goals as Kerin O'Rahilly's retained their Kerry club football championship status yesterday.

The former Aussie Rules player scored a brilliant solo goal early in the second half as the Tralee side defeated Milltown/Castlemaine 4-11 to 2-12 in their relegation playoff. Milltown/Castlemaine will have another chance to secure their top-flight status when they face Kilcummin - who lost to Rathmore by 2-9 to 4-8 on Thursday night - in the relegation final.

Meanwhile, Dr Crokes have qualified for their fifth consecutive club championship final after seeing off Killarney rivals Legion 0-12 to 0-5 in Rathmore.
