Cork's Brian Hurley had a first-half penalty saved against Limerick

The Munster senior football championship took centre stage this evening, with both semi-finals down for decision.

Pairc Ui Rinn =was the venue for Cork's meeting with Limerick, who stunned Tipperary in the last round, while defending champions Kerry travelled to Ennis to take on Clare - narrow quarter-final victors over Waterford.
