The Kerry senior club championship stars this weekend and some clubs could be without key players.

Injuries sustained during last Sunday’s FL1 final defeat to Mayo has left James Donoghue, Kevin McCarthy and Darragh Moynihan doubtful for their clubs’ championship clashes this weekend.

Donoghue is a major doubt for Legion’s clash against defending champions Dr Crokes after he suffered a dead leg during the Croker showdown.

Kilcummin, may have to do without the in-form McCarthy who had a very good league campaign for Kerry, as they prepare to take on Kenmare.

Moynihan could sit out Spa’s IFC clash against Templenoe after he suffered a calf injury last Sunday.

Another Kerry player that won’t feature for his club Kerins O’Rahillys is David More as the midfielder has been sidelined for a number of weeks and is believed to be at least two-three weeks away from full fitness.
