Dr Crokes vice-captain and county star John Buckley had his hands full after receiving the monstrous Kerry SFL Division 1 Shield and Man of the Match award following the Killarney club's latest success yesterday.

A week on from their eighth Munster club SFC triumph, Dr Crokes overcame Kerins O'Rahilly's by 2-20 to 3-12 after extra-time in their own backyard of Lewis Road to be crowned league champions for a fourth successive year.

The Kerry SFL Division 1 Shield is one of biggest pieces of silverware in the GAA, with the Kelleher Shield - which is presented to the Cork SFL Division 1 winners - believed to be the biggest of the lot.
