Tommy Walsh is back in the Kerry senior football set-up according to recent reports coming out of the Kingdom.

Kerins O’Rahillys manager Micheál Quirke told Radio Kerry yesterday that both Walsh and club mate Gavin O’Brien have been called into Peter Keane’s pre-season squad ahead of the 2019 campaign.

Walsh has not been involved with the Munster champions since departing Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s panel in the spring of 2016, having returned the previous year after a stint in the AFL with both St Kilda and Sydney Swans.

Named 'Young Footballer of the Year' in 2008, the now 30-year-old Walsh was a focal part of the Kingdom’s All-Ireland success the following year before taking the decision to move Down Under.
