Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice was certainly not getting carried away by the performance against Clare as he stressed that Cork will pose much tougher questions of them.

The Kingdom were in devastating form against Clare in the Munster SFC semi-final last weekend, scoring an impressive 0-32 points on the way to a 22-point win.

Fitzmaurice is experienced enough to know that they can only take so much from the game and that there will be greater tests ahead, starting with the Munster final against Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

"We will absolutely be asked tougher questions by Cork. The Cork challenge is a different challenge," Fitzmaurice states in the Kerryman.

"I don't need to talk them up, they were very impressive in Thurles last weekend. They've a new management. They're playing to a set style, they're organised, they're fit, they're hungry, they've a point to prove.

"I've never gone down to Pairc Ui Chaoimh in my life and got anything easy but it's a huge reward for the lads winning against Clare."
