The weight of Kerry supporters' expectations doesn't weigh too heavily on the shoulders of Paul Geaney and his team-mates.

Followers of the Kingdom have been spoilt with success down through the years but, according to the All-Star forward, they understand that Eamonn Fitzmaurice's charges are faced with a major challenge in trying to dethrone Dublin.

"From what I can see, they do very well not to be putting pressure on too much," he revealed to The Irish Daily Star.

"But, they will speak their mind, and when they have the opportunity they will praise Dublin for being a good team.

"They do appreciate that Dublin are an excellent team. It's fairly hard to beat them, as we've seen. I think they know it's not from a lack of trying."

"They can see the hard work and effort going in to try and change things.

"They understand that it's just a period of time where you have a very good Dublin and they are just hard to beat at the moment."

The Dingle clubman concluded: "But that's just part of sport. Any time there's anyone dominating any sport, it's going to be difficult on opposition supporters but hopefully that will change."
