Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice will have been keeping a close eye on his players in club action.

Fitzmaurice will be concerned by the fact that a number of the county squad didn't even play for their clubs at the weekend.

David Moran, Brendan O'Sullivan, Darran O'Sullivan, Mikey Geaney and James O'Donoghue all sat out their respective games.

However, better news for the Kingdom boss was that Anthony Maher, Donnchadh Walsh and Kieran Donaghy all played for their clubs.

Paul Geaney impressed for Dingle as he scored an outstanding 3-05 in their win over Rathmore.
