Galway are flying high in Division 1 but goal scoring hero Eamonn Brannigan is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

Brannigan netted the all-important goal in today's 1-14 to 0-14 round 4 victory over Kerry and he's hoping they can maintain their impressive form when they play host to Monaghan in seven days time.

"We can push on," the forward insisted when speaking to RTÉ Sport. "We're probably safe now with our eight points, we're happy where we are.

"But we have another game next weekend, we won't get carried away with ourselves.

"We have Monaghan next so we'll see what we can get in Salthill."
