The Galway hurlers have been boosted by the return of three players from injury ahead of the All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Tipperary.

Following on from the news that Jonathan Glynn will be available for the semi-final, news has broke that Joe Canning, Cathal Mannion and Daithi Burke have all returned to full training.

Canning nursed a knee injury through the Leinster final, but a couple of weeks rest has saw him return to training, while Burke has recovered from a bout of tonsilitis and Mannion has overcome an ankle injury.

Having a full strength squad to face the defending champions is a big boost for Galway manager Micheal Donoghue who believes the squad are very tight this year.

"There is a huge unity and trust in the group and, from our perspective, the boys have really taken ownership this year and are driving it on themselves. That is really good from our perspective," Donoghue told the Connacht Tribune.
