Sunday's All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal looks set to come too soon for Wexford's Andrew Shore and Andrew Kenny.

Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald revealed to the Wexford People that the game comes too soon for the duo as they both continue their recoveries from injury.

Shore missed the majority of last year with a cruciate knee ligament injury, but he has made a full recovery from that, but suffered a setback when injuring his shoulder a few weeks back.

Kenny has been hampered by a niggling hamstring injury for some time and although he is well on the road to recovery, the clash against Waterford is just too soon.

"Both missed out on the Leinster final, Shore with a shoulder injury, and Kenny with a hamstring injury. This game is too soon for both," stated Fitzgerald.

In better news for the Model County, Damien Reck looks set to be fit for selection, while David Dunne is also fully fit, but may be lacking match practice.
