Waterford defender Noel Connors is looking forward to playing in a new stadium this weekend.

Connors and his team mates will run out at the new Pairc Ui Chaoimh this Sunday as they take on Wexford in the All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal.

The teak tough defender is hoping to absorb the atmosphere in the new grounds and use it to their advantage as they look to progress to the semi-finals.

Speaking to the Waterford News & Star he said: "I didn't get to play there too many times in the championship. A new stadium brings a totally new atmosphere and new sensations when you get onto the field.

"It will be spectacular to go down to a top-class facility. We'll relish it and hopefully make the most of it on the day."
