Davy Fitzgerald will renew acquaintances with his former Waterford charges at the quarter-final stage of this year's All-Ireland SHC.
The last eight draw took place this morning and pitted Davy's Wexford against the Deise who will be looking to build on their long awaited win over Kilkenny last Saturday.
All-Ireland champions Tipperary, meanwhile, will be up against their Munster neighbours Clare who lost out Cork in yesterday's Munster SHC decider.
All-Ireland SHC quarter-final pairings:
- Clare v Tipperary
- Wexford v Waterford
The two games will take place on the weekend of 22nd & 23rd July and confirmation of venues, times and all dates for all fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of the GAA's C.C.C.C this evening.
