Leitrim manager Martin Cunniffe is confident that they can get their Lory Meagher Cup campaign back on track this weekend.

The Connacht side suffered a heart breaking one-point defeat to Fermanagh in the opening round last weekend.

Now, they must take the losers' group route and a clash with a returning Cavan this weekend.

The Breffni men went down heavily to Warwickshire last Saturday and Leitrim will be favourites to get the win.

"You have to start winning fairly or you will be forgotten about," said Cunniffe. "Hopefully, we get it going against Cavan now and we will see how it goes from there."
