Brian Cody made his debut on the 'The Mario Rosenstock Show' last night.
The comedian compared the Kilkenny hurling maestro to Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger in a sketch that has divided opinion on social media.
That Brian Cody scene was dark but genius #mariorosenstock

Mario Rosenstock Show @rte piece on Brian Cody, Kilkenny Hurling Manager. Disgraceful and completely unacceptable. A step too far

A contributor to our message board (Ballydalane - Kilkenny) asked: 'Did anyone see last night's Mario Rosenstock Show on RTE 1 where he did a so-called "comedy" sketch portraying Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody as Freddy Kruger from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series of horror movies?
'What a grossly offensive insult to the greatest GAA manager of all time - I hope the Kilkenny County Board complain in the strongest possible terms to RTE about this.............everybody knows that Brian Cody is far, far scarier than Freddy Kruger'.
Take a look for yourself...
