A Family Race Night and Auction in aid of the Eddie Connolly Trust Fund will take place at Thurles Greyhound Track on Friday, September 18.

Former Loughmore-Castleiney and Tipperary hurler and footballer Eddie was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of just 27 in 2013. Since then, he has been receiving extensive medical treatment and is currently undergoing a new form of cancer treatment in Spain which is not covered by medical insurance.

In response to this, a fundraising committee has been established by Loughmore-Castleiney GAA club to help Eddie with the costs associated with his treatment. The committee would be extremely grateful if your company could assist in this fundraising effort by either sponsoring a race, nominating a dog, donating item(s) to the auction or making a direction donation to the Eddie Connolly Trust Fund bank account at AIB Thurles.
