There is a fixtures row brewing in Limerick following the county's under-21 hurlers' progression to the All-Ireland final.

Limerick will play Wexford in the final on Saturday, September 12th and this has seen the next round of club senior football championship matches pushed back to September 15th-16th.

A lot of football clubs are believed to be annoyed over this as the last round of the SFC was played on August 8th/9th.

There was a full round pencilled in for next weekend, but that has now been pushed back until the weekend of the 15th.

New dates have been scheduled for most of the remaining championship games in both codes, but a full round of senior hurling championship games will go ahead this weekend.
