Donal O'Grady, Seamus Hickey and Declan Hannon have been left out of the Limerick side to face Westmeath in Sunday's All-Ireland SHC Qualifier Round 1 at Cusack Park, Mullingar.

Following the disappointing 4-23 to 1-16 Munster semi-final defeat at the hands of close rivals Tipperary, manager TJ Ryan has opted to shake things up with captain O'Grady, 2014 All-Star Hickey and ace attacker Hannon among five players to be dropped.

Defender Stephen Walsh and goalkeeper Barry Hennessy are the others to lose out in the reshuffle as Paul Browne and Nickie Quaid return from injury. Wayne McNamara, Kevin Downes and Seanie Tobin, who is back from suspension, also come in.

Limerick (SHC v Westmeath): Nickie Quaid; Tom Condon, Richie McCarthy, Seanie O'Brien; Paudie O'Brien, Gavin O'Mahony, Wayne McNamara; James Ryan, Paul Browne; David Breen, Seanie Tobin, Shane Dowling; Cian Lynch, Kevin Downes, Graeme Mulcahy.
