Anthony Cunningham says Galway's goal on Sunday is to win their second Leinster SHC.

Bob O'Keeffe holders Kilkenny provide formidable opposition in the provincial final but victory is all that interests the Tribe boss:

"We want to win this on Sunday and it will be even on head-to-heads since 2012, so that's also a drive for us," Cunningham confirms in The Irish Daily Star. "We want to win the Leinster final.

"We've had some massive matches - last year even when there was very little in both matches. So there'll be very little in it the next day and the matches with Kilkenny are on a knife edge really. But, any of the top teams, you have to take your chances and defend well.

"If you don't, you could go six points down in a matter of minutes or, if they don't, we could go six up in a matter of minutes. That's how they have been and I don't see it being any different on Sunday."
